This is an amateur how-to video I recorded on how to install phpMYadmin on AWS / Amazon Lightsail. AWS Lightsail is becoming more and more popular for users that want lightning fast hosting, but don't have time to configure complex cloud settings.

I apologize for my raspy voice, that is just how I talk.

You will need some basic knowledge of AWS, Lightsail, the Linux command line, Putty, and of course phpMYadmin.

Source port: 8888
Destination: localhost:80

default lightsail username for SSH: ubuntu

URL once setup is done:

For choosing the instance image platform-- if u select Linux/ Unix-- do u need Linux/Unix running on your computer?

WTF! After typing '127.0.0.1' and not working I used 'localhost' and it worked. I have never herd of such a thing. [evil settings or driver somewhere I think?]
