These are the safest of the 100 largest cities In USA. Rank by murder rates first, and outliers with safe murder rates but high crime rates disqualified.
Seatle, Portland, Vancouver disqualified due to high crime rates despite low murder rates. Phoenix Arizona includes all its suburbs. Several California suburbs annexed into their larger region to make the list diverse.

The city i live in has 457, 000 people with a total of 14 murders last year. Making it the safest city of its size in the entire country. Even property crimes were well below the national average. We also have a large African American and Hispanic population. I'm sensing a real east coast bias in this video. It's on every list of top 10 safest cities...except yours that is. Virginia Beach, VA is one fine city to live in.

Your videos always throw me off once in a while. New York being in this list was why but I understand your doing it by the murder rate not crime rate. But I know three ladies that were assaulted on the train in nyc. People were starting to get scared to go on the trains. This took place 2020-2022.
