Morrowind Rebirth 6.0 - Release Trailer

Over a decade in the making, Morrowind Rebirth returns you the world of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind as you've never seen it before, bringing you the lands of Vvardenfell, renewed and reborn, full of new adventures for you to discover, dungeons for you to delve, and artifacts for you to horde! One of the largest mods for Morrowind, today Rebirth is even larger with the monumental 6.0 release, adding major new overhauls, tons of new items, and numerous minor graphical improvements to make for an even better Morrowind playing experience!

Morrowind is still the best Elder Scrolls game ever made... it has yet to be dethroned. None of the others have the inmersion this game has, and we are talking about a game where dialogs are based on text and missions don't have map pins indicating where to go everytime, you have to follow directions, look at your diary or even read books to get a clue on the lore and what to do. It's a masterpiece, even it's music keeps getting constantly remastered and reworked for other Elder Scrolls games. Sometimes i put a morrowind ost compilation to fall asleep.

As my first ever RPG, Morrowind will always hold a special place in my heart, and this looks truly incredible. Whilst you can see how dated the base game is in the combat and movement, it still looks absolutely gorgeous. You amazing N'wah! And Praise Jiub for killing those Cliff Racers!

Installed via openmw and it took less than 30 minutes and I'm just stunned how far and easy modding has come. At this point I'm also looking for other mods that play well with rebirth but because rebirth is so expansive I'm afraid of breaking my game :/ something along the lines of a crafting or maybe a needs mod...

But this mod is just spectacularly well put together and I cant recommend it enough.

I just hope this time they make the gameplay changes optional. Its an incredible project but I dont think any fun is found in limiting the ways one can break morrowind

I kinda like the part in the release census, the place you where dropped off at seyda neen, there was this female imperial guard going back and forth the corridor where you were going to steal items to sell.

Are all the mods in this video compatible with Rebirth? just wondering because the listed mods on moddb is a short list. It would be nice to have more mods like animated containers (example). The nexus dose not note if they are compatible on most mods. any info would be helpful. Thanks for the nice videos:)

It really bugs me that the mod is "advertised" in a way that isn't representative to the mod itself. It doesnt come with groundcover and post processing effects like that "out of the box". Theres a bunch of stuff that needs to be installed and configured properly to make it look like in the video. I dont complain about that its complicated or something - I just wanna say this is not what it is. Even though the modlist is given within the description text.
