Surfer was being a prick. Yeah he was deeper in the take off but the other guy was already riding. No reason for that shit.

The bodyboarder was on it first and made it clear by going left first before turning into the pocket.
Surfer mate committed without looking which is a fair mistake on his part as he was on the inside and probably didn't consider the skill of the bodyboarder.
Whats not fair is the reaction of the surfer. Im a surfer myself and this behaviour is really sad to see.

My friend did that got arrested and given trespass to his surf spot for a year. All the cops and guards knew him so he had to move away cause it was the only surfspot in town.

Surfer is suffering from Only Child Syndrome...never learned sharing. If the surfer had actually concentrated on a clean share he wouldn't have effed up the wave/ride for both of em. I woulda happily rode it out w/the sponger. Had a surfer do the same to me the other day but w/swear words. Some humans have no kindness.

not sure about protocol here, but booger appears to have caught the wave first. He turned as sharp as he could to avoid collision, but there was not much more he could do.
