I hear you, but I still can't convince myself or others to get a coating more than 3 years. What if you get a scratch or an accident or anything like that? It throws all that work and product down the drain so to speak and you'd have to reapply the coating again, right?

Hello Yvan.
I was wondering if you could help me with a couple questions. I was detailing a custom motorcycle last night and the client requested the stacking of the eight year with three coatings. We can do that ❤!!!!
Washed and dried, decontaminated, polished and prepped the bike… all good. Laid down the first coating, the 8yr, no issues. Here is the twist that I need your expertise and direction. I had another person apply the coating and I was levelling and buffing. We finished up the second coating about 8pm last night. All was good until an hour ago when thinking about the job I started questioning myself if we had used the 3yr or the 8yr bottle???
1) If we layered 2 coatings of 8yr, is that an issue by itself?
2) we have missed the 2hr window (
It’s been 9hrs now) is there a way we can still stack the 2 and retain the benefits?

I saw someone ask on a video where you did the 5 yr plus 3 yr stack if you should do the stack with the 8 yr, the respond from the DIY Detail page was that it was a “waste of money”. Has something changed with the 8 yr coating as of the time of this video?

Yvan can i apply the 3 yr coating over my existing coating? Its adams advanced graphene ceramic coating (9yr claim). Its only 1 year old and holding up great but im always trying to make it better. Thanks for always being there for us
