In a yesterdays update I did add the ability to move the Power Generator and Mining Machine. Also added ability for Dinkys to build the Rocket.
For the range on the Item Grabber Machine, it does show when built but you're right it would be useful to also see the range while just holding the capsule, I'll add that in tomorrows update.
Interesting how you just focused on trying to get the Tower and didn't use the mines at all. I've seen other people do this as well, I guess I need to add a tip explaining how they are great early game defenses
Also really curious how you thought you would completely abandon the first world heh, I never considered how people would see it that way but I guess it makes sense. Really funny to hear you say "how much prep is too much prep", I would say that is too much lol
The Resource Launchers were actually renameable because like you saw it is indeed very useful, however I had to remove that last minute because there was a bug that I just couldn't find the cause where it would break the connection when changing the name. I think I have found that issue so I should be able to add that back in tomorrows update.
I am indeed actually planning to continue development on the game beyond just quality of life improvements. I really like how the game is right now and I've got tons of ideas for where I could expand it.

Tried this, didn't like it, very basic and slightly annoying, I'll stick to autonauts and desynced.
