Miyazaki said in an interview that you'll need to beat both Mohg and also Radahn to access the DLC, so make sure to take them both out before June

Make sure you are able to wield the sacred relic sword. If u domt have enough faith use the faith talisman and faith tear. You will need money for those smithing stones and the albunurics need to pay their taxes at that one farm location

I remember hearing that you should also have defeated Radahn. I don’t remember where it said that but you’re also probably fine if you plan for level 120.

I don’t want to start with a new character so I’m gonna run in with my level 310 build with two serpent hunters on max new game

U would agree with not taking a nee talisman but mohg is an end game boss with an ancient dragon smithing stone right outside his bedroom so a new character wouldnt be too bad

Advice for builds, since status effects like bleed and frost deal a percentage of damage rather then a set amount, arcane builds are likely to give players the easiest time in the new dlc. If you want the best build for the dlc, a quality arcane level 150 build would likely be the best, having around 20-30 in both strength and dex, while having 40 arcane, will allow you to likely use most new weapons while being a somewhat powerful build for the dlc

even with level 200 you won't be over leveled so don't worry about it.

I'm actually not sure if weapon upgrading will matter too much with the dlc, for the same reason as the build. It'll matter if you want to use those weapons in the main game, since I'm pretty confident the leveling system won't apply outside of the dlc area, but who knows. Also, considering you have to beat Mohg, I'm pretty sure the whole "new character" thing won't be a problem. I don't see a level 10 wretch getting past him unless they know full well what they're doing, lol

My plan rn is to complete the run I’m doing and get as many weapons and armor as possible and do all the bosses cap off at 150 and do the do frenzy flame ending and then start ng+1 when the dlc drops so I can do the main storyline and the dlc at the same time

I’m literally gonna go in at NG0 RL150, everything finished all items quests armor sets bosses etc. and only fully upgrade 2 weapons and a seal. That way I can do the dlc asap and on NG+ I can do a fresh run through the whole game in case they add stuff outside like new quests or options for npc’s.

Level 407 on Ng+20. I’m just praying at this point. Boss damage is about to cook me 🙏
