Interestingly, Porsche is selling the Macan EV and the old gas powered Macan at the same time, so you can choose which one your prefer. Good review - but *Who'd the hell, buy this Already-Failed Car* - Its a car for utter morons, who just happen to be driving that day (but are mesmerized by the gormless dancing headlights, ambient lighting, changing colours & childish sounds) . . . and all that for *JUST* $107, 000
Remember when driving - always Look at the Screen - NOT at the road, always Look at Screen - NOT the road, & constantly change your screen colors - Its important !

I drove a Macan EV S today. I have owned 911's, driven a Taycan, a number of other Porsches (Boxster, Cayman, 944 and 928) It IS FUN! I realyy enjoyed it. The acceleration is mind boggling. The vehicle is larger than I expected. It is easy to park and has plenty of buzzers and whistles. I could see my self daily driving it. This car should be much popular than it is is initially. I feels like a Porsche.

on the passanger sceen the passanger can watch youtube or netflix and connect his headphones.. he can play videogames too.. next update you can connect a game controller too.. there is plenty to do with that screen

I like that Porsche has stuck with a traditionally shaped and located instrument cluster rather than having one big screen.

My coworker has a Macan S. There is absolutely nothing impressive about a gas powered Macan. The EV version, which is much faster is a better idea. But always keep the 911 the 911, ICE forever. Like he says, there’s nothing special or sacred about a Macan. He’s right. It’s just a good small SUV, made better by becoming a much faster and presumably cheaper to maintain EV.

What I want is a Macan wiht a turbo 6 with a 6 speed and a clutch pedal. But since that doesn't exist, this seems like the next best thing. I can accept no clutch if there's no shifting. I need something with a little more utility than my Mini Cooper. Now I'm not buying one new, but maybe in 5 years I can pick up a slightly used one for something reasonable.
