As a former religious Jew I had to click on this. Everything you said is correct and you even pronounced everything correctly. When talking about God, Jews also use the word Ha-shem which means "the name", You guys get an A for Hebrew;

A lady that goes to my church had a JW at her door and actually ended up converting the guy to catholicism, so now the local kingdom hall doesn’t allow its members to go to houses with statues of Mary in the front of them. We got one around easter time this year for the first time in a solid 7/8 years, even though we have one

The JWs I've met made a huge deal about the first bit of John 1:18 - that no one has ever seen God (and so Jesus isn't God as he's been seen). They literally were trying to persuade me to become a Jehovah's witness by saying its impossible to witness Jehovah! They couldn't get why I was giggling at this, even when I explained it, as sadly they weren't able to think outside the box they had been trapped in.
