Guitar tech swaps necks in under 3 minutes

Our head tech, Albert Comas, makes his first attempt at swapping out a guitar neck as fast as he can. Do you think he can do it quicker?

Looks unbelievably simple to me. But it makes me wonder if maybe he fit that new neck before they shot the video. I've only changed one but- it wasn't that easy- not even close. The neck didn't fit, I had to work it down- then I forgot to leave room for finishing- had to work it down some more. Then I get it in- needs shimming, worked it down too much. I did get it installed but- I learned a few new curse words along the way. That said- proud to say she still plays great 3 yrs later and it looks normal. LOL- That's a helluva a recommendation huh- "It looks normal.." Hey- I was afraid I was going to end up with a franken-strat- bolts and springs hanging out of it here and there.

Bring out Graphite or carbon bolt on necks necks like the old Steinbergers and a bevel delete on Vader

BIG F'Ing deal.i used to swap my fretre d ml and fretless P-bass necks between SETS. Could not afford two separate basses so I swapped necks. 4 screws...took a cpl minutes.

Never use power tools to completely tighten screws on a guitar, that's how you strip the holes....

A guitar guy replaces a neck in less than three minutes. Big deal, it's a bolt on. What is this obsession everyone has with doing everything at the speed of light? It doesn't make it a better job.

Honestly if it takes 3 minutes to change..
Take 30 mins to learn how to change it. And spend another 30 putting swapping it. Then pay yourself for the hour you worked with a cold beer
