Asking people to think is a tall order

AI should be required by law to label the output as created by AI. It really isn't "artificial intelligence". It' s more like "automated mimicry". Real intelligence creates good outcomes in a lack of information, not a huge database of inputs that get statistically evaluated for probable responses.

This is the most advanced game of 'Spot the difference' I've ever seen
Still easy for now, but AI is getting better by the day.

The eyebrows were the first thing that I noticed.

The people who really need to see this won't, and that makes me sad

There needs to be laws over this soon because there really are people out there who wont know the difference and this has already started major floods of misinformation.

I didn't say anything to hurt peoples feelings but those ridiculous non-photographic pics are a blight all over Facebook. That girl/puppy is so distorted a face, in about a 1000 different poses, and just obviously not resembling a real photo. It's just just plain sad this story is needed, but I think it really is.

We can tell the difference now, but it won’t be long before ai is indistinguishable from reality

People don't care about truth.
They care about what they _want_ to believe.

Easy. Don’t trust anything on social media. Treat them as entertainment only.

What scares me is AI is learning so fast and soon all the things you point out will be corrected 😣

Can’t believe we’ve reached this point already. The tech has been around, what, 3 years? Damn.

This is assuming people will even question it or take a closer look...in the age of shorts and faced paced content...scroll scroll scroll...im guilty of it myself in the past... I do my best to pay closer attention to the details! Thank u for covering this!!

AI images often have a dream-like quality so I usually can tell they're fake.

How about just making it a legal requirement that any AI image have a label saying it’s generated? Instead of asking individuals to spot differences, protect society from having to even do so.

First clue is usally the contrast between the topic, which is almost HD, versus the background, which is blurred, sometimes even exaggerated.

It’s sad that common sense has to be taught by local media

Shadows and lighting give AI away as well

I immediately knew based on her forehead; the shading makes it look caved in. And eyebrows don’t arch like that at the top.
