1st. It is not cheap. Current changes are awful. Very bad rate!
2nd. I have just had bad experience with WU. I received an email in which WU informed that the money have been collected by receiver. I called to see that everything is OK and my friend said clearly WU didn't have enough cash to give the money, but in 30 hours the fucking WU sends message that the money have been received! Can you imagen? You go to collect your money WU tells you you are received the money! Fucking hell! I will never use WU again. Shit is shit. That what WU is! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Western Union charge transfer fee and than refuses to transfer the money, when asked why? they say that they're a private company and don't need to provide a reason. It strange how this seems as a scam to take the fees without delivering the services.

Money collection is never safe, because they are open to exploitation in corrupt places.
I used to send money to family in Nigeria 🇳🇬 through Transferwise from bank account to bank account.. but now Naira is no longer supported and I rather not trust an establishment in Nigeria to "Hold" the money for whom I'm sending it to.
