This Simplicity sewing pattern is great for sewing summer clothes. I will show you details on sewing a v neck tunic.

I love this pattern. I have made the V-neck in linen and I love the look of it. I had to shorten it between the armscye and the shoulder, then again below the bust because I have a short torso. Easy sew, the facings are a bit bothersome, but could be top stitched for a more casual look. I love how the wide shoulders almost create a cap sleeve. Yours turned out lovely, I have some crinkle rayon that I’m terrified to work with, lol. 😂

Delilah I love your channel! Ive had this pattern for a while and probably would have never made it if I didn’t see your video. This shirt looks so cute on you. When you use a crape fabric do you iron it? I never know if I should iron it. Anyway I ran out and bought some fabric to make this and I have to tell you its my new favorite shirt. I used what I think is a Rayon Challis. It was kinda hard to work with but it is so comfortable and cool. I made the square neck version and I had to make a couple alterations. I used a size 10 because my shoulders are small and made bust and hip adjustments. I also moved the darts down an inch. I have to say it really came out beautiful. Thank you for this video. I have been power watching your videos and love them. I’m going to try to find the fabric you used because I love it so much.

I have this pattern and I made the square neck. I feel like I made it a little too big. I might size down next time. I used just quilting cotton so not the softest fabric but I get a lot of compliments on it. Can’t wait for the dress review because I have that pattern too. Love the fabric your top is made from.
