Of all the stores and restaurants that have closed, the Christmas Tree shop really will be missed.

Absolutely heartbroken. I loved shopping at CTS, I will miss them!

what is the sense of filling your shelves if all those that are sad to see them go couldn’t be bothered to shop when they were first in trouble. Now they have to close the doors and you flock for 10% and cry about them being gone

I’m not surprised they weren’t big in my area there was only one store but it’s a massively populated area with massive shopping centers that go for miles . I didn’t go there till I moved to the town it’s in (20 mins from where I lived before) because I had never heard anyone talk about it had no clue they sold anything other then Christmas stuff, I’ve never seen a commercial for them or anything so pretty much in my area anyways if you didn’t hear about it from someone or happen to be Christmas shopping next to one you would never know. I did like the store but I never thought about them till Christmas what I can get there that target doesn’t have.

Some of their locations began as the Deerskin Trading Post.

How was a store called "christmas tree shops" even successful in the first place? Talk about having to jump through marketing hoops in July.

It doesn't look like a Christmas store at all

I was at the Lynnfield MA location recently. There was practically no one in the store and many shelves were almost bare.
