I think of the Edwin Diaz of 2022. You could trust him with a one run, maybe 2 run lead and he not only got the save, he would do it in dominant fashion. To see Diaz a shell of himself is the saddest part of an already sad season with this club.

Diaz needs to stay in the 7th inning and work his way back up to the 9th. After a few good outings in the 7th, he can graduate to the 8th inning, but rn, no one wants to see him BLOW ANOTHER SAVE in the 9th inning and continue to deflate the team.

I'm glad he's not the manager of my team. Sorry, Mets fans. There needs to be PERFORMANCE BASED SALARIES only in the MLB. There's no incentive after these players get these huge contracts. These guys all make way too much money.

this team isn't good plain and simple talent is there but the Mets have pitching and offensive issues. they brought in Martinez late but it takes more then 1 player to get this offense straightened out.
