Guys, thanks for taking the time to do the comparison between these 2 bows. That said, when one bow is rated at 348 IBO at 30/70 and runs 328-329 you gotta call that out (20fps slow)…especially when the other bow is pulling less weight, is rated at 340 at 30/70 and runs 329-331, and has 1/2” longer brace height with a more forgiving valley at full draw. Hoyt is the clear winner here…and Hoyt accessories like stabilizers and side bar brackets are a fraction of the price of Mathews accessories . #KeepitReal

No matter how you test there will ALWAYS be YouTube pros telling you how to do it while never have actually done anything 🤣🤣

Love your vids one of the only channels I watch test wise outside of what we test!

Finally, the video I’ve been searching for all over YouTube! Shocked that this is the first comp between the two. Good job guys, just gained a subscriber.

Don’t worry about the comments. The content is great, obviously genuine and unrehearsed. Keep making awesome content!

I shot both the ax32 and the lift x33. I went there wanting to buy a hoyt ax32. After shooting both, the lift x was extremely smooth and the hoyt was definitely heavier on the draw cycle. Both are great. I ordered a lift x 33, only to find out my wife ordered a ax32 for me for Christmas. Hoyt AX32 is what I'm gonna rock for the next 4 years

Nice to see you mentioned the valley when doing the comparison as I think that is something that is missed in most reviews. Most reviewers mention the backwall, but skip the valley. I currently shoot a Phase 4 and the lack of valley is one of the big reasons why I am getting a different bow in the offseason. Really looking forward to shooting the Hoyt offerings.

MFJJ reviewed a few Hoyts already and said he couldn't change the draw length on them because the screw wouldn't come out I think he stripped one trying to get it to come loose. This is because last year they had issues with the screws coming out. I assume they used blue loctite at the factory instead of using purple... Don't really matter to me my $ is always gonna be spent with Mathews and Matt McPherson. Hoyt is owned by an investment group. Big difference

Great comparison. I love both companies. You can't go wrong either way. I currently shoot the Lift and I am really happy with the way the bow performs. The Lift holds on target better than any bow I have shot in recent years.

Can we get a head to head comparison Ax-32 vs Lift X 33?

I’ve owned many Hoyt’s and Mathews bows, always been a tough decision but Mathews usually ended up coming home because the accessories are better. This year it’s not even close with tuning on the Mathews, can’t wait to pick up my lift x.

I just recently bought the ax-2 32 I tried all of the 2025 release bows from Mathew’s Hoyt PSE and Elite. I personally felt the Hoyt was the smoothest drawing and cycling.

Not having to shim gives the Mathew’s an edge. I also like the look of their bows a lot. The bar that goes behind the wrist on the Hoyt bothers me. I wonder if heavy clothing would hit it. I’d like either bow. But I’ll stick to my Halon 32 and Atlas.

You guys are killing it. Keep it up fellas. 🔥

Tuning IS important if you shoot fixed blade broadheads. Paper and Broadhead tuning is the acid test to a guy who hunts with fixed blades. I’ll test a Hoyt when they catch-up in this department.

Honestly i dont know much about a hoyt and my dad shoots a beautiful mathews creed xs and while i have never shot a hoyt i really liked how my dads creed xs bow performed. It is upsetting that they dont produce the creeds anymore but I will have to stick with the mathews bows

I like the Hoyt, I like the valley and draw cycle. But saying this the Mathew’s is a great bow as well.

Last spring i bought a lift 33 and it was a great bow. Towards the end of the summer i was kinda forced to switch to Hoyt due to a sponsorship agreement so i reluctantly bought an alpha x 33. I realized pretty quickly what i had been missing out on all these years because of other people's unwarranted opinions. Hoyt is by far the most bulletproof bow on the market and it's not even close. I knew that already but i thought i wouldn't like how it shot... It became me favorite bow I've ever had and I've had a lot of them. My favorite bows of all time are the alpha x and my elite Omnia. That's just me. It's all really personal preference and unfortunately a lot of people's personal preference is swayed by popular opinion and the Matthews fan boys seem to be the loudest😂😂😂... When it's all said and done you really can't go wrong with either of these bows. They both make a great product.

Great video. Would like to see a comparison of lift x 33 and the sequel 33 st2.

Same bow for the most part as far as shootability you say. But Mathews I can tune at home. My pick is Mathews for that reason. I’ve always had Hoyt bows.
