Tim Connor gets into Mathews Bow Launch with the Lift X bow line. Featuring the Lift X 29.5 in this video. Mathews came out with some game changing technology for tuning bows and in this first impressions video I dig into it. @podiumarcher3447 helps break down the new technology. #archery #new

Thank you for a honest review and not a sponsered ad on channels like elkshape, Chris bee etc. It's a shame how people think that new is always better. Often innovations go backwards. Maybe the new tuning option is the right way but 99% of all archers can't even outshoot a 2021 compound bow. They believe they will be better with new stuff but a good archer shoots well with every bow.

The time Tim spends on the editing of intros and just creativity of formatting is unreal lglg tim

Glad they added the tuning solution. Got to say the Mathews accessories are RIDICULOUSly expensive

$1300 for bow $2200 for all the gear to strap on it if you get it all Mathews. Pretty hard to buy more than one so you have a back up bow.. they should have named it the Mathews Divorce. That's what's going to happen to lot of guys who buy one after their wives find out

Wow great video man thanks! Also hope MATHEWS continues to make bow tuning more friendly for the consumer that wants to tinker on their own stuff!

I speak for everyone when I say that Tim is the man. The videos are rad but Tim himself is the most genuine dude. Thats why I tune in anyways!

You and I had the same issue with Mathew’s..the old system of tuning was just not for the guy that enjoys bow hunting but just does not have the time or does not have a pro shop near by …
Might be the reason I switch from my BowTech which is a RPM 360 to the Lift X…
I was already thinking about a lift but that tuning change means the World to a guy like me…
Appreciate your Video!

Thanks for the video. My Lift is top hat tuned with MFJJ top hats, it shoots straight, limbs have been fine, if I want the new grip I can stick one on. I can’t find a reason to upgrade to Lift X.

Your videos are hilarious, super knowledgable but yet the sarcastic twist and amazing camera work and editing is just all a top notch….”package”

The lift is a beautiful bow, I have one. The thing about the lift X that is supposed to separate it from the previous model is the tuning feature and that you don’t need a press. However, you can’t fully tune it at home without a press because if your timing is off, you need a press lol. It’s a great way to really micro tune it and get those left and right tears out. Neat feature for bow techs though.

The ol Tijuana TJ. Beautiful man. Just bought a lift about a month ago, now to archery, and had no idea a new bow was coming out. And have had a shitload of top hat tuning issues with my bow, so, I spent Monday violently sick after seeing the bow launch

High quality video Tim that was awesome from the goofy look in the mailbox to the business dealing at the end. Hilarious and informative. Not dropping that much cash on a bow holy smokes but I’ll be here as always nerding out on gear and living vicariously every step of the way.

What I’m not quite understanding from some is when you say you like the new system because it allows you to tinker with it, without a press. That’s the only thing you can do to it. Now that you have a bullet hole what more are you going to tinker with? You have to have a press to put in the peep, to check/set cam timing etc.

Good to see you back buddy, I started my bow hunting journey the same time as you (I’m 46 though lol) and I really your content along with the other guys of course but if I could ever make it out to the shop I’d like to shoot with you. Keep the good work and yes I think the entire country has taken a deep breath and exhaled lol

Both Mathews and Hoyt have very exciting offerings this year. The mustache makes you look like Captain Kangaroo. 😄
