I highly recommend John Douglas's book Obsession. It gives you tools to help keep yourself and your loved ones safe. I also recommend the book Dangerous Personalities by Joe Navarro. (Who is a retired FBI agent)

During my research on past and present serial killers in Michigan, I often use John Douglas's teachings to help understand my subject matter. I find his insight INVALUABLE!
