various info:

Baby, please don't go
Baby, please don't go
Baby, please don't go, down to New Orleans
You know I love you so

Before I be your dog
Before I be your dog
Before I be your dog
I get you way'd out here, and let you walk alone

Turn your lamp down low
Turn your lamp down low
Turn your lamp down low
I beg you all night long, baby, please don't go

You brought me way down here
You brought me way down here
You brought me way down here
'bout to Rolling Forks, you treat me like a dog

Baby, please don't go
Baby, please don't go
Baby, please don't go, back the New Orleans
I beg you all night long

Before I be your dog
Before I be your dog
Before I be your dog
I get you way'd out here, and let you walk alone

You know your man down gone
You know your man down gone
You know your man down gone
To the country farm, with all the shackles on

I'm a drummer and I recently got myself a cheap harmonica from some library in Brasov... I managed to grasp those bent notes, overblows, two hole draws and blows, and now I can jam to guys like Muddy Waters, Sonny B. W., James Cotton, etc..
My friends got into it too and sometimes we play at school, on the stairs or in the locker...Our fellow classmates don't like it.They never even heard of Blues.
At-least youngsters like me keep it alive.I may not be American, but this music lives in your soul.

Does the blues get any better than Muddy Waters, the greatest blues singer of all time, and Little Walter the greatest blues harmonica who ever lived.

What a shame that Little Walter died long ago and we today didn't get to experience his magic. He really is the Rolls-Royce of blues harp players. There will never be another LW.

I'm amazed to see how kids here in Brazil appreciate the blues, they dance to almost every blues song you put, it's a shame that most parents influence kids to songs that are only produced to earn money, and not well being

Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Lightnin' Hopkins, John Lee Hooker. All fantastic blues players. They played with a real sense of "I've been through some shit!" in their music, which is essential to the blues. R.I.P to these great men!

This music is not dying... while we, the few people who still listen to it keep doing it, it will remain alive in ourselves... no need to make any generations appreciate it if we still love this...

Its hard to remanufacture this song in modern music, because of the lose of tubes in amps and the basic playing game and theory. I love

Was lucky enough to meet Muddy thru some of my fellow musician friends in his 'Hard Again" band Tour. Johnny Winter and Charles Calmese. We drank champagne with Muddy and his wife Marva. What a blast we had.🎸🔊
