Northwestern University: The pros, the cons, and how to get in.

The best way to get into a highly-selective college like Northwestern is to understand what makes that university unique -- academically, culturally, socially -- and then to tailor your application so it seems like it's the "perfect match" for your past accomplishments and future goals. Your videos are so spot-on! They are really outstanding. You do a fantastic job of providing an objective presentation of the pros and cons. One interesting note about Northwestern: apparently, the winters have been much milder for the past few years. My son is a freshman and said the winter wasn't a big deal at all (and we're from California)! We'll see if the trends continues.

Great video! One small correction: “Chicago” isn’t 30-40 minutes away. It’s literally a few minutes away because Evanston borders Chicago, specifically the Rogers Park neighborhood. Going all the way to *downtown* Chicago is 30-40 minutes away via el or bus, but the Chicago border is just a few miles from the NW campus.
