You do have trouble fitting the L Plates to it legally though. That rear one would probably not comply. I attached two small aluminium batons to the lower section of the rear numberplate with double-sided 3M and put the L Plate on that. The front one went onto the Commuter windshield that I had fitted. We have a local traffic cop here who has earned the nickname "Copzilla" and he apparently adores pulling over Learners for incorrectly fitted or trimmed plates. No chance with mine!

While you are getting used to the performance as a Learner, try using the Custom profile and setting it up as "Eco-lite". I started at 30% max torque and 70mph limit till I was used to the bike then just swapped to the normal Eco.

i love the sound of proper petrol engine but I wouldnt mind this one to be honest, i think its great to have more electric bikes around just like i love the teslas, its really cool to have more choices

I will buy such a bike as soon as the charging speed and battery life are much better than today but damm that power output is huge and fast!!!

The key thing is not so much the range but the charging time. The technology for a ten minute charge time on a Kia car was reported this morning on BBC news...wont be long now.

Very quick and very heavy for a learner 180kg that's the same as a lot of 500's and someone else in the comments said about hitting 70 in eco mode so Christ knows what this thing is capable of.

You can set the custom mode torque to say 5%, full regen braking, and set the max speed between 60-120, easier to learn on

I don't know much the premium suspension rises the cost, but I'd be more than OK with a regular suspension (something similar to what most well recognized brands use for their 125cc offerings) if it meant overall cost to be reasonable.

I can imagine someone walking from their house before the corner you came around, listening for a motor noise and stepping out to look and being smacked straight into an electric bike coming around the corner at 40 mph .im sure many people already pointed out the massive danger of a silent heavy object moving at that speed on country or even slower city roads, but it is surely a real concern and a massive danger . At least in a motor bike one can hear it coming around a corner but this removes half our ability to be safe .it seems madness to me however good it looks and works .
