closed eyes and hum the notes is a great way to find my inner melody, it start really simple but a simple lovley melody is a powerfull start (i recommend to know what a scale is and how a chord was build)

Yes! Also a small vocabulary of a few different techniques applied in the solo, helps a lot to maintain interest.

A guitar solo is like a song within a song. Recycle the small phrases, and for the apaex you already have the chord tones to land on between the fast detailed licks.

First of all thanks to your student for the courage to present himself as a learner and working on his shortcomings in public so we can profit from the process!
The lesson itself is super helpful (as always) because of your skill of pinpointing a question's essence and boiling down complex interconnections to into comprehensive and practical bits. I take a lot away from this fir myself:-)

Hai toccato un punto in cui c'e' letteralmente una lacuna nelle lezioni di chitarra che ho visto da quando suono, almeno 3 anni. Percominciare a capire come scrivere una melodia ci sono delle regole. Ad esempio una melodia puo' non solo arpeggiare l'accordo, ma anche avere il resto degli accordi impliciti nella melodia. Puo' avere anche chord substitution, una cadenza (call e response) etc etc.
E' un po riduttivo insegnare in questo modo, il ragazzo secondo me chiedeva quello che ho scritto, anziche' arpeggiare semplicemente un accordo. E' un percorso nello scrivere una melodia, o un solo, che sto facendo da autodidatta. Ne ho acuistato di materiale per chitarra al massimo dicono pick a note at the time....
