Odin was showing Stark he has to watch and monitor everything. He sees the infinity of the universe, and rarely if ever can he intervene.
Him showing up to talk to stark was monumental to the universe as a whole, Odin had to ignore infinite tragedies across the universe to have that brief conversation with Stark and to set things on Earth right.

That’s why Odin was asking Stark “Do you know what it means that I am here”. Odin judged it worthy enough of his time to see Tony compared to everything else going on.

Odin is so benevolent here . He acted like a true father . He literally disciplined a spoiled child in a truly caring manner . He showed him what he is unaware . Make everything right again and continue with his work. It was truly like father came from work and confronted by his child about why he wasnt there for him XD
