Christopher Conrad We are definitely very lucky. Thanks for the tip. Two mice have already settled in the backseat and hopefully the junkyard 122 is still there tomorrow for us to cut up some more, so it's already been more exciting than Arthur, if that is the right word to use there... That's all in the next video update :)

So much rust... I fully expected the floor boards when I saw you guys hoisting it out of the mud. I thought you would have more under the fender though. I'm honestly surprised there isn't more. Another place to look is on the frame rails going up from the body to cross member. I've had two 122s with rust issues there (only on the passenger side for some reason).

man the bumpers were in very good shape. I bought a 121 thats needs alot of work but his numpers look like frankenstein bumpers

That's typical, the floor is shot but the transmission tunnel is really solid. But you're putting the Mercedes turbodiesel and 5-speed box in it so you're going to need to change the transmission tunnel anyway. And Sods law strikes again lol...

The station wagon type of amazon is rare here in Sweden and goes for alot, it must be extremely rare in america...dont know why they are so rare, maybe they didnt make many?
