Re, the time period covered in The Story Of Film A New Generation, it covers the years 2010 to 2021 and not 2001 to 2021, my apologies for any confusion.

Hi Alan, Being an ex Cinema Projectionist I loved your little tour of the Hove Art and Film Museum the little Cinema was great and the shots of the slide laterns and cameras thanks for that. The ITV version of "TITANIC" made in 2012 to tie in with the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Ship was actually very well done I have it on Blu Ray mine came from CEX a few years ago glad you got a copy enjoy! "The Story Of Film" first series very well done by Mark Cousins some great interviews there love the one he does with Sir Sean Connery while watching some clips on a Tv with him great seeing your vids again - Take Care - Mark - Wallasey

Great video 👍 really interesting seeing the old footage from yesteryear. I wasn't keen on the Julian fellowes 2012 Titanic drama.

That museum looks so cool, wow! Love seeing these extras in your videos.
I really enjoy the father brown series. Will have to start picking it up.
Oh wow, I remember watching that Titanic series, didn't realise how long ago that was though.

Hi Alan,
The museum looks great, I never knew that was in there. Another brilliant history segment.
It was a very light week for blurays which is always nice for the wallet, mind you there is always something around that I’m after 😂
Shame cry macho did not get a Blu-ray edition but I got the 4K a few months ago from America, I have not heard anything good about the film but I’m still looking forward to giving it a go especially as it has the outstanding Clint Eastwood.
Never seen father brown but I know it’s popular.
I never new about they done that titanic tv series, I also really like toby Jones.
The story of film is something I know I would really love but it’s just the daunting runtime especially with so much to watch.
Another great Monday pick up, so good to have you back. Don’t worry about replying to this comment also Alan, you have plenty of other 👍. Take care

Hi Alan, can't believe that Titanic mini series is Eight years old already, I think Jenna Coleman from Doctor Who fame is in that as well. I honestly thought she would have been big in Hollywood by now. Thanks mate.

You filmed some nice museum footage Alan. Toby Jones is a good actor, he was great in the series 'The Detectorists' and 'Don't forget the Driver'. McKenzie Crook gave him a cameo in 'Worzel Gummidge' as six characters! I understand Toby has also been cast in the new (5th) Indiana Jones film.

Lovely to see you again matey! That museum at the start looked gorgeous. I loved the little cinema room. You could easily lose an afternoon in there.
You were quick off the mark with getting into HMV 😂

Hi Alan,
I agree not a lot out in movie releases as I went on a movie hunt myself, & was very disappointed on the “Cry Macho” release only on dvd which I did get, a German or U.S blu ray has already been released, I asked HMV about a U.K. blu ray release & they said it’s been discontinued for the time being 😳, great seeing you back on a regular basis again Sir 😎👍

Clint is my wife's favourite actor and I'm a fan too - I think we have more movies starring him than any other actor in 'the collection', so yes, Cry Macho will certainly be an import for us (stupid UK Blu-ray release attitudes!). Maybe I'll pick it up for her upcoming birthday.
I see Network cashing in on Valentine's this year by releasing anything they have with 'Love' in the title...
I like the sound of Father Brown but it sounds like I've got a lot of catching up.
Thanks for another great video; stay well 👍
