Blu-ray Hunt #142 07/03/22 trying a Wendy’s coffee and a 70’s classic TV show

Hi everyone today I check to to see which films have made it to the HMV shelves and try a new coffee shop…Wendy’s. Hope you enjoy the video.

I just learned about HMV this week. I wish I had a place like that near me. Seems like a fantastic place to pick up physical media.

Hi Alan,
Good to see "Coming 2 America" getting released finally, so will replace my bootleg of it, the sequel was okay but not a patch on the first movie "Coming to America"
I grew up watching "The Six million dollar man" & "The Bionic women" as kid watching both of them on ITV, a nice edition from Germany & on blu ray, which both haven"t yet been released in the UK on blu ray.
Who would of thought a Jackie Chan movie getting a HMV Premium edition release & one i"ll eventually pick up, fine update as always Sir Alan.

Rhona Mitra was also in the Supergirl show. Never watched the show myself, so I don't know how often she was in it. However, she played one of my favorites Mercy Graves. I've never seen Mr. Nice Guy or Running on Empty, but I've heard really good things about both of them. I need to grab a copy of each. Great haul, Alan. Tfs, and have a wonderful week.

Brilliant Alan. Loving that stair case art work. I used to love the bionic man back in the day. Not sure if I remember the bionic woman, will check the trailer out, might have been too young but a brilliant saving on that price. All good pick ups this week for not much out. Excellent 😀👍

Great price for the Bionic Woman... some of those complete 80s series sets seem to go for a fortune (even on DVD). Certainly going to pick up Mr Nice Guy, but will probably wait for a sale, especially as I've just come back from a costly holiday break and am having the conservatory replaced at no little price!
Haven't heard hardly anything bad about West Side Story and really enjoy musicals so picked up the 4K steelbook for that one (am deciding whether to include it as a birthday present for my wife as that's coming up soon and means it isn't really coming out of my 'Blu-ray budget' 😀).
Thanks for another great video; I'll be back next week with a 'double haul' as I was away this week on my previously mentioned holiday. 👍

The Bionic woman, now that brings back some great memories, loved that series Alan, i need to grab some of these old tv shows, i bit expensive for me but would pickup the dvd sets if cheap enough. Mr Nice guy is a great film and one hopefully i will pickup. thanks mate.

Hi Alan,
I have had Wendy’s before in America but don’t remember to much about it, I certainly won’t be running down to Brighton to give it another go. West side story I have never seen the original partly because I’m not a big musical fan but I’m going to give the new one ago Manly down to the director. Very odd how they do the disk art now as I got the steelbook and has artwork on both the Blu-ray Disc as well as the 4K disk but on your Blu-ray it does not have any. Running on empty I have never seen but heard nothing but good things, I will definitely be picking that up when it’s in the 2 for £15 alongside mr nice guy.
