I bought my PS4 Pro when the PS5 released, which meant I had a HUGE library of games to play (a lot of which were definitive editions), and at incredible prices, with all the bugs worked out (both system, and games). So, I just received my PS5 (Original BIG Model), and once again, I have a much larger library of games to pick from (GT7 (PSVR2), Shredders, Baldurs Gate 3, are all on my immediate buy list), and at a much lower price, overall. I think I made the right choice.

As someone with a ps5, I wouldn’t bother, maybe I’m getting old but I hardly tell the difference coming from my ps4 plus I can’t find anything entertaining enough to keep me playing for more than an hour that doesn’t cost atleast £60-70, it’s exciting for a week then just feels like a ps4, it maybe my crippling depression talking but hey ho

PS5 Pro expected to drop in November 2024, that's when I will buy the PS5, honestly, I'm buying the console for GTA 6, and also 2024 is predicted to be a big year for next-gen gaming

I've had a PS5, the controller was great and it's fast. But I wasn't as hyped as I was for the PS4.
So I sold it, maybe if they bring out games that I like, I'll buy one.
PS4, XB Series X, Switch is enough - backlog issues 😁

Here's my take. The ps5 is worth the upgrade IF you want to get the entire set up. The controller is cool but now worth 70$, the portable version is 100% worth it if u have the money, and the load times save u a few minutes every session. Visually, it's not that much different. Game developers SUCK at using the full potential of the PS5, so you will not see a large difference when playing the same games. My friend let me borrow his ps5 and honestly, it didn't play any better visuals, just faster on the load times. It's just not worth upgrading unless you get a crazy good deal on a ps5. I'm not paying anymore than 350 for new console that doesn't have a stand or even a controller.

I upgraded to a PS5 (disc) slim. from a PS4pro, couple days ago.
The framerate was much better on PS5,
Less headache while gaming, and eyes don' hurt as much now.
Only tried couple games. Its a nice machine.

Don't waste money like I did with a PS5. Very few exclusives are worth the full price. A very expensive paper weight for sure

Im mainly a PC player (Ryzen 5900x CPU with a RX 7900xt GPU) and I got my PS5 (Forbidden West Bundle) on Amazon because I wanted to play Returnal. Then months later Returnal got released on PC. Im not upset though because its honestly uncomfortable for me to game on a controller. I prefer Keyboard and mouse and the customization available on PC but im still glad I got the PS5. Even before I got into PC gaming Ive always preferred Playsation over XBOX.

It is a waste of money! It is not at all user-friendly, have such extremely poor customer support that it is lacking, actually they direct you to other players for help! You bought it then you still have to pay for everything! Even for the account (they call it charge to verify the age), even to change the profile details they charge. You want to play some free games? Emmm...there are no free games. Oh, ok some free to install. But to play them? Pay! A machine like this should be for entertainment, the PS instead it is so frustrating and charge you for anything that it actually it is quite stressful. Get A PC instead, much more versatile and also customizable. JUST QUIT THE IDEA OF GETTING A PS, saves you time, money, energy, health.

Lol, at 57 years old, I appreciate and love the PS5, Xbox series x era, it's just different. I mean c'mon, all people did in the PS2 -3 era is complain about how we need more powerful hardware, so nothing has changed except perfected graphics, frames per second, and overall performance of the ps5, and you have big games like Gran Turismo 7, Uncharted, Dirt 5, and many other games, so I'm not sure what people are always complaining about, Lol, people complain every generation, Lol 😂😂.

I ve never owned a console and i just got a ps4 for free. I am playing all the games under the sun. I look forward to buying a ps5 in thee years from now.
