Hello, while watching your video I realized that I already forgot more about automatic transmission than I ever learned. Thanks for the refresher. I am curious whether the repair is worth it?

Can you pleaseee tell me why a 46re would whinee or whuur loudely in 1st 2nd 3rd gear but not in 4th. Not in park.. not standing still in gear. If i go to neutral. It still whines if im rolling at speed.. turn engine off.. still whines.. but as SOON as it goes to overdrive.. its gone.

Transfercase to neutral.. still there when rolling. It shift fine exactly like it has for the last 150k miles ive owned it.. it has 220k.. fluid changes every 30k miles.. last one i did find three snap ring peices though.. two were the same leice.. one was another. But that noise hasnt started until the last year. And those snap rings i found 3-4 years ago
