Back in the late 80s - early 90s there was a B-film festival in Montreal where this was shown one night along with '20 millions miles to Earth'. That evening my friends and I had much fun, as did the whole audience !

Thanks, Creature Features! The late 1950s is my fav era of sci-fi flicks, and “Earth vs. the Flying Saucers” is at the top of its genre. Fun Fact: the voices of the aliens in this movie were recorded by an uncredited voice actor named Paul Frees (he was also the voice of John Lennon and George Harrison in the Beatles cartoon series that aired in the mid ‘60s.) The speed control on the tape player was turned up and down real fast by hand while the tape was playing back to give the audio a wavering effect.

'Earth vs The Flying Saucers' is yet another movie I own on Blu-ray, but I have not opened it to give it a proper viewing, so this will be a treat tonight and in good company. :)

I Love the 70's TV Movies you've been showing! There were so many great TV movies with great scripts made back then. Also love the 40s and 50s sci-fi movies! Your scripted set-up questions at the end of the show is fun 😉

Can't wait! Just saw this at the drive in recently. I finally found the song creature features uses in the show, it's called The Happy Goblin by Louise Heaney.

Ray Harryhausen was my childhood hero and I knew him personally very well in the last 15 years of his life. He'd be delighted by this podcast!

🛸 🛸 🛸...And hits keep rolling...another good "Atomic Age " 1950s sci fi alien invasion horror cult classic. With one of American cinemas original "sci-fi/horror kings" of the era, Hugh Marlowe who made several genre films. This is in many fans top 10 of the 50s. See you Saturday night.

Thank you Creature Features for a fun and entertaining movie. I enjoyed it very much. Movies of today lack the entertainment quality and imagination found in movies like this one.

Love Creature Features! Grew up with these movies. Your show takes back to the days of Chiller Theatre when I was a little d to when I moved to California in '73 when I was 20 and we had Seymour Presents and Elvira Mistress of the Dark every weekend. Love the bits with all the characters . Mr Livingston is a gem and I have a mad, mad crush on Tangella.
