Last night I made potato leek soup for the first time. Every single ingredient was from the garden except for the bay leaf, the butter and the milk. Even the broth was homemade. It was amazing. You just can’t beat it.

Pri-gi-oni!!!! You are wonderful! I have to share.... I'm in zone 6 STL. My O's (Olivia, min-pin and Oliver, labrador) jump on my head at 6am, they're my doggie alarm clocks! Every morning we go out to tend the garden and their favorite is getting a fresh pulled carrot from ERBs (elevated raised beds). Oliver stares at the cucumber plants and drools as he waits for me to harvest those. They're job is to chase away critters then wait for a harvest reward. Tuck just gets in there!
Well, I'm a dog mom so I really appreciate seeing Tuck busy in the garden. Heartwarming 😊
Thank you for sharing all the helpful info about gardening. You too are loved and appreciated. ❤️

I am grateful for your videos. I get inspired, but when I go out I feel deflated. We are in southern Colorado and on a flat mesa. So the wind is high and we have bindweed like crazy. Folks at the nursery tell me to plant only in beds, don't disturb the soil. So with bindweed that grow through anything with a crack or hole, 7, 000 ft above sea level, and intense sun and wind from March to July, gardening is such a challenge for me. I have gardened in the red clay of GA, in ice and snow in Ohio, but Colorado....whew! This is a tough one. So, I come here to watch your inspiration and hope I can find a way to overcome all these challenges. I miss being out digging in the raised beds all season. Thanks for your videos. They get me thinking of ideas.

Grew tatsoi here over last winter (Zone 6B-7A on the south shore of Lake Erie). On cold 10-degree days the leaves would shatter like a piece of glass if you touched it; a few days later when it was 40 the leaves would spring back to their lively selves and new leaves were pushing out even in February. Ate those things through April!

Just finished up my 2 newest 8×4 raised beds. Looking to fill them with fall crops this weekend. It's still 85 degrees here in Georgia. You're a real inspiration my dude.

Not sure if you tried but I started to use soil blocks this year and it’s life changing. I start all my fall crops in soil blocks and then just plop them into my beds.
