Whoever is gonna call Shun toxic is speaking from a place of privilege. First of all: (especially the 3rd and 4th one )
1) his moves are defensive mechanism : Imagine being a baby or a kid who knows that no one will be there for him, and the only one who is going to protect him in this scary world is himself. Being an orphan is way harder than growing in bad environment.. he was alone in this world..

2) He must have been surprised that some people fall in love at first sight. That's why he wanted to know if Dai was serious or if it was just a temporary feeling. He wanted to understand why Dai liked him. That's obviously because he never experienced unconditional love. He never experienced being cared for; he was abandoned. That's why, when Dai love-bombed him, he was uncomfortable and wanted space and to be just friends. It’s not his common sense—his common sense is fight or flight.

3) Shun made an incredible effort because, at first, Dai wasn't his type. (I’m pretty sure most of us have a type, and it's hard to give someone who isn't our type a chance.) He didn't want to give Dai hope that he would be with him or interested in him just because Dai had a crush on him.

4)Dai's lifestyle before meeting Shun... I know he's a green flag and the most amazing, patient person, but wouldn't you feel uncomfortable if someone confessed their feelings to you and then, a few minutes later, called Usak hot, wanted him on the show with them, and wished for a body like his?
Wouldn't you be concerned if you saw a naked picture of the person interested in you being used on dating apps? And remember, you're looking for a partner to build your future with, and you have to make a decision within a month and a half. Shun is serious about his relationships, as you can tell from his dating history, unlike Dai, who was ready to hook up even if he isn't emotionally invested. You know that he hooked up with Alan just because he found him attractive.

This alone would raise concerns for someone like Shun, who doesn't want someone to be interested in him just because they find him hot. He wants to be loved for who he is, not just as a temporary excitement. Have you seen the unreleased video where they describe jumping from 0 to 1 or 100? That will explain a lot about their personalities and why they both acted the way they did.

5) He grew and became better. He was afraid because he knew that when he falls in love, he will fall hard. That's why he was stopping himself from falling in love with Dai, trying to find reasons to prove himself wrong—that he doesn't deserve love and that it was just a phase. That’s why he was testing him.

6) You can tell he is neurodivergent. For example, he gets overwhelmed by noise, which is expected because of where he grew up or how he considered not wearing a t-shirt as rejection sign or something would lead to rejection in the future . Any way let's be kind and an understanding people because we have no right to judge a person we know nothing about him or about the demons in his head especially if that person is aware of his problems and is working on himself to be better 💙

I felt.... DaiShun is not together.. there's a different aura between them.
They did not come together and Shun was seated opposite Dai at first when he arrived... just my observation though. Hope I'm wrong.
Reminiscing is good it brings back memories that's why Dai cried.
