Sor Etude in E minor

The beautiful Sor Etude Op.6 No.11 played by me, Samantha Muir. Decided to record a live version of this as I am busy practicing it for the upcoming Sherborne Abbey Festival.

Hi Samantha, lately I fell in love with this little gem by Sor that I watched videos of it by more than 10 artists, then I came across yours. Your interpretation is super, bringing out the emotions that I believe Sor intended. I subscribed to your channel and hope that you will upload more videos like this one. By the way, I personally find this etude very spiritual, having the calming effect on me as the “Ave Maria” by Schubert and by Gounod.

I'm working on it myself these days and I'm aware of the big difficulties of some passages....but you simply seem to glide over them gently and happily. I love this slow, no-rush, approach you take.
