Love the new coop but come winter you might need to wrap the roosting with rope otherwise the chicken's would stick to the cold metal 😮

I love the way you treat your kids. You allow them to participate in every aspect of farm life because you know they are capable. You expect them to be capable and they know you are there for them and will back them up. They see their work turn into completed projects that are useful and necessary. They are secure in the knowledge that they are important and to the farm and in your lives. Kudos. Their eagerness to be involved from the smallest to the biggest is a joy to watch.

Definitely wrap the metal for winter. Our neighbors chickens lost some toes when they froze to it.

Oh yay! My number 1 favorite family on the tubes. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Your children are growing by leaps and bounds like my grandchildren. What an amazing beautiful family unity you have. God bless you all!

Soooo happy to have a "full-size" family project video. Love your farm and no-nonsense approach to farming. Great to save the "nonsense" for your family fun.

Hello White House family 🥰
I grew up with a pear tree in the 80s, loved having them to snack on while playing outside all day ❤️

Alto's a cool name! Brazilians speak Portuguese though, not Spanish. Thankfully, the Portuguese word for tall is... Also alto!

This is a very fun segment! Seeing the boys along with Rebecca jump in and do thier parts, was a joy. By the time they are in thier late teen's, they will be very well familiar with using thier hands and tools with confidence. A great help to you Jake and Rebecca too! The chickens look really happy and so do the Mandarin's. It's a good thing you bought a large property, it gives you lots of room to do whatever you need. Cross the Bresse chicken with the Indio, see if you get a larger meat chicken that does produce good eggs?😁

Buy Oster shell for your hens so they can stop pecking each other feather. These are game rooster taking care of them a little bit more different. I also raise some with my thai roosters, shamos and Saigon roosters.

You guys are so kind...it's no one's business how you get your coops. Jeeesh! Keep doing what you're doing! I love your content!

The new coop looks like good, but it might need some adjustments for them before cold weather hits. I'm glad the peacocks can get outside, look around and get into the fresh air. They have plenty of room in their coop/shed. It's nice that Cook Unity can be heated in the oven and doesn't require special equipment. The meals looked delicious.

Cool coop! Sweet to see everyone learning and pitching in. Bella’s messy face made me smile 😊

It's great that the boys are learning life skills while they're so young. Bella is watching and learning, too.

Looking at the thumb nail I’m like wow the kids are so grown. It’s like I basically grew up with them on the farm just from watching the videos. You guys have really come so far. I’m a big fan of White House on the hill, you guys have inspired me to have a farm when I grow up! Seriously! I want my farm to be just like your farm! I love watching your videos, also because I’m a big fan of birds, I would love to hatch some quails and possibly even chickens and ducks, when I grow up I also want to be an Avrian vet!, (a bird vet) I can’t wait to see the next vid!

Watching this with my wife - we enjoy how the whole family is involved and making memories. Can imagine my wife, myself, and our future family doing the same when we move to our homestead. - Dakota & Angela

I love how the kids help. When they grow up, they'll already know how to do stuff that I def don't know how to. They'll have so many skills to help their own families build or farm or whatever they decide to do. They are never too young to learn and help out. To them, it's grand fun!
