Here we discuss the strong nuclear force, and how it is responsible for holding the nucleus together even though the protons and the electric repulsion should make the nucleus unstable. The strong nuclear force is millions of times stronger than the electrostatic forces.

I keep thinking “what if we could withdraw such forces and use it to our advantages”, I know it is far fetched, but still I think such forces are very interesting! Thanks for another awesome video, appreciate your time making these educational videos. 😎

So our bodies are always trying to self destruct but our nucleus stops it?

If we were taught wrong information then what is the likelihood of this information being correct

Can there be simple potential equation to describe it ?

If it's stronger than electrostatic force
Then why doesn't the nucleus collapse?
Nuclear forces should be repulsive too then? Why is it that we generalise Nuclear forces as attractive only?

So in the case of U235 are the Strong Nuclear forces weaker than other nuclei and hence can be split by the neutron?

But what proves it to be present? I mean, what if there is something else?

Humans should be humble. Too much to be discovered in the future. There's certainly other really tiny particles smaller than quarks responsible of that force.

And from where does this nuclear force come from
