Apart from the similarities, smash really looks waay better in term of character animations and stage details. While all of those movements in smash looks realistic, the hits actually HIT, i mean when a strong hit land (like marth tipper or krool smashes) we actually can feel it through sounds and visual effect, but in this nickelodeon game, all those hits sounds lame and looks weak/strange. (sorry if my english aren't good enough)

Korras up-tilt is much more similar to Shiek's up-tilt that Ganondorf's.

Actually for Patrick’s rolling attack it’s backwards since that’s a move he did in the SpongeBob Movie game which was in 2004 while diddy didn’t do that move until 2008

I feel like Reptar's Up Smash is more similar to Yoshi's seeing as it's a backflip rather than a front flip.

Danny Phantom's Up Special also reminds me quite a bit of Zelda's, primarily because of the coloration of the particle effects and speed of the move

It still pisses me off that April O'Neil got in and not The Shredder. Also, Danny Phantom and Aang had grave injustices against them with their move sets. Toph was done justice though.

Smash has 85 characters and 20 years of history. Nick was EXPLICITLY inspired by its most technical side, so it is no surprise that a few moves look pretty much the same. But considering how many moves and variations there are in smash history, they came up with surprisingly original ideas overall
