During this special event, we awarded the inaugural Linda G. O’Bryant Noetic Sciences Research Prize to teams whose research helps extend the science of consciousness beyond the confines of the materialistic paradigm. This prize recognizes those who are pushing the boundaries of what we know about consciousness and driving the field forward.

Various models of consciousness, including non-local consciousness theories, were also be explored. These models proposed that consciousness is fundamental and non-local, and could potentially explain exceptional human experiences that cannot be accounted for by traditional materialist models of consciousness.

Hi there this is fantastic. I am teaching children to read blindfolded and they are "seeing without their eyes". Nicola Farmer in the UK has developed a technique to allow them to do this. It truly is the most beautiful work I have been involved in

How would physical science identify human consciousness?

Non-local consciousness may be conceived as the ether! A live feed universal sensory feedback system. As in our own local consciousness, which models our body and its environment in the realm of our mind and provides feedback potential into the physical world. Neither the universe or the body are conscious. Consciousness is in a separate realm of reality.
