After doing a bunch of big power modifications on my 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG it was time to hit the dyno for a remote tune from Tony at Race iQ. After gaining some nice power with the new mods, I was surprised to see that one mod caused me to actually lose horsepower. I think I can make some changes to gain it back though so comment down below how much power you've made with your M113K powered AMG Car.

11 PSI Boost
Total Ignition Timing- 20 degrees
Max Intake Air Temp- 124 degrees

Air Fuel Ratio- 11.5

Good to see the E55 again! I'm glad you don't get too caught up in dyno numbers like most, consistency is the key... as we all know from back in the day, the street is the great equalizer! The most important mod is the driver mod, that's how 500 HP cars can end up walking 800 HP cars.

Boost varies a lot depending on IAT's since there's no boost regulation in those superchargers. I've even seen up to 13psi on the stock pulley on very high intake temps. Realistically the stock pulley makes around 8 or 9 psi, and the 77mm pulley makes 10 to 12psi. Spikes slightly higher during gear shifts.
I personally think the engine becomes pretty knock limited after 15psi, but with your setup with the water/meth and headers you should be fine with a few psi above that. Really like the build so far. Looking forward to see how much more you get out of it!

Finally another E55 video! There is a video on here of an 05 I believe, doing a 4th gear pull (don't remember the mods) that hit damn near 200mph.

The stock pulley car made 492hp 518 torque, 83deg weather 4th gear 160mph with 306 gear. 498hp for race gas. 122mph traps. at track.

You really need to get rid of the stock exhaust. Less restrictions can only mean more power.

Hey Alex. Thank you so much for doing the no-wmi vs wmi dyno runs. Plenty of data on its effects on post-blower IATs on these cars, but I think you're probably the first to test and document this on a dyno (or drag strip). Can't wait to see what kind of times you run at the strip.

That’s some good numbers I have vrp primary HE and secondary, 76mm pulley and tune, bwk, I made 460 wheel and 560 torque soon to get longtubes to reach that 500hp mark!!

Hello alex big fan from the uk. Like you I have invested a lot into a e55 w211 I am going for a full restore but I am almost giving up pal because of a ride issue but I will come back to this. this is what I have done or should I say my wallet has done.

sub frame bushes including all the small ones
lower control arms front and back and every other arm for that matter
airmatic pump and valve
all air shocks merc recon inc rear shocks
super charger pump inc sc service seals ect
new rad (just in case)
engine mounts gbox mount
small sc pully
tune
Brembo discs pads all round
new plugs and packs
four wheel alinement
decat
sport rear boxes with square tips
new 18in black and diamond cut alloys spilt 5 spoke
lsd

full airmatic calibration at merc

The issue is any small drop over a grid on the left hand side front (near side)there is a bang and my dash sounds like its coming out but the rear feels bad on the left also. its like the rear left has more travel down pot holes and the right is solid. on the right hand side driver side it always feels solid. really don't no what to do I have almost rebuild this car underneath at the cost of 15k. is their anyone in the uk that could maybe shed some light. what is your thought alex please help or going to end up selling it because its p$%%$%^ me off but I love it to much its like having a beautiful girlfriend that you know is bad for you.
