Only problem is none of your older devices support WiFi 7.

I'm still on Wi-Fi 5 with the Deco M4 mesh kit. I'd love to be able to install a wired backhaul.

My 6E will do for now. Not even sure there’s an internet provider in my area that supports speeds those systems can handle. Like having a car that can do 205mph, but no roads I can do more than 80mph on. 😂 I love the Deco’s though. Mine work great.

I moved to this after 2024 black friday sales. getting the BE63 at 50% off. I couldnt be any happier. it was so easy to setup and the speed and range was insane. max signals and speeds through the how house. if you dont have the max speeds it supports. it still allows all devices to get all band Weight all the time.

320 MHz is the new largest channel width in Wi-Fi 7. Actual throughput has more than quadrupled from 9.6 Gbps to 46 Gbps. Wi-Fi 7 is quite future-proof with those speeds. There are also a ton of new features!

I’m still enjoying my Deco M5 with separate IoT network

I currently use the Deco P9 and installed it solely because of the back haul capabilities. To be completely honest I have mixed results using it. If one of my nodes goes down for whatever reason all my devices will migrate to another one and remain there even after the down unit becomes operational. As far as the back haul, well even with it operating that unit still has a medium strength signal. I may end up directly wiring it to the system as a workaround. Personally I just don’t think the Deco system lives up to the hype.

Pointless and expensive right now. Devices still barely support WiFi 6, won't have any need 7 for many years.

I'm jealous of your upload speed. I top that download does on my wifi 6e on my laptop. I consistently clock almost 1, 200! I'd gladly cut that in half if I could get faster upload speeds than 42 mgbs. 😢

Vi que esta marca ya sacó los mesh de wifi 7. Pero están bastante más caros que la 6a que probaste en este video. Los has visto?? Crees que valen la pena sus precio??

As long as the network keeps running and does not crash, my wife is happy. Last time I tried to upgrade, it was a miserable experience. I ran to the store, picked up several AirPort towers and it has been bliss.

Just curious if you’re using the TP link deco right now and if so, how is it performing with all your smart devices

One modem router in one with 2.4 and 5ghz band with 90mbps and 250mbps how to extend it to other room with 30mpbs brose??

This equipment REQUIRES the establishment of an account which has its own privacy implications. That combined with TP Link’s own privacy issues should be reason enough to stay away if privacy is valued by you.

How does the IoT dedicated network work, some functions in Apple home require you phone to be on the same wi fi network to recognize you as being at home? For example, while not Apple home, my Denon stereo receiver won't let me control it through the app unless I am on the same network as it. Wouldn't an IoT network make this difficult?

Had endless problems with deco router and Aqara g3 connection. Ended up having to switch off the 5ghz band to solve. Anyone else having problems?

What I dont get though is smart homes would need to split off the 2.4 ghz ssid for only the smart home stuff so you cant even use wifi 7
