I am trying to help a neighbor who had her Gmail account hacked. I am trying to delete just her Gmail, not all Google options, but when you enter your password after clicking that you want to delete gmail and that box comes up saying "how you'll sign into Google", this is where we hit a roadblock. It says you can't enter another gmail address, and her Hotmail doesn't work for some reason, so what are we supposed to do at this point? Help please! It shouldn't be this complicated to delete a Gmail!

Did I miss something? I have several gmail accounts. I want to delete some but not all of them. I do NOT want to delete my google account AND there are some gmail accounts that I do NOT want to delete. Did you address this scenario. If so, I missed it because following the instructions I can delete the gmail account I'm logged into but I didn't see where I could choose the account(s) I want to delete.

Why can't the recovery email be a @gmail email? How are we supposed to delete the 1 email address I no longer use, but have another that I do want to keep, that can't be the recovery email????

So theirs no a way to delete Google chat. I don't use the app I have the chat option in my gmail address


After being scammed on here I get so nervous talking to people on here because in my mind I'm thinking everyone's a scammer. Which is why I rather not use the platform at all. This platform literally haunts me now 


I know I can turn off chat feature in my settings but then people can still message me. I rather not use it at all 


I also think Google should have a limit to how many accounts you can create. Because even when you block someone they can still message under under new accounts
