We are one nation but made up of many different cultures; that does not mean one culture has more value than another. Our country was known as Aotearoa before European settlers arrived -- there shouldn't be anything wrong with calling it by both names. Surely there are better things to get angry about?

I walk on Te Waipounamu .. its the "science" ika Te Māui - erupted up from the ocean and looks like a stingray 🤷🏼‍♂️ obviously the first names given we know of ... The name you use depends on the whakapapa you draw from .. like myself and many on this whenua the name can be multiple.
