I bought 3 of these traps. It doesnt pay. You’re better off with the regular TNR traps at $80 each. These 1099 traps that come with a separator claw (for when we change the papers and feed them )that have spacings too far apart to where the cat escaped.
Plus the back door with the Too small loops to put the rod thru Does Not Make for a smooth process to secure it or unsecure it when you need to work. Too cumbersome.

Otherwise if you can devise a Secure way or speak with other TNR people who can give pointers how to better use and rig this, then its worth it.

These are expensive traps, so you would think they would come with a decent set of instructions and the pieces would line up so the trap is actually secure. Nothing lines up properly, and I had to force the door shut while holding down the cage and pulling up on the cage at the same time. How am I going to do that with a feral cat inside? I am about to set my first trap, but am honestly worried that I wont be able to open the door to get the cat out after I trap it. You can really tell this trap was cheaply made. I have a feeling that I am going to be returning this trap after one use!

Can u adjust the flap to react faster .. I think it’s not tripping once I found the can empty and did not trip and I bait the inner flap of trap so cat goes to end of flap so his weight trips it but nothing ..

I am look for an adult cat trap with smaller tunnel for kittens to come to the mom which would have a one way door so they could not get out once in with their mom.

This is how to assemble the trap for the first time. Doesn't show how to set the door and operate it. I had the trap assembled for a friend and am trying to send them a link on how to set the door. This video isn't helping.
