Driving a VOLVO S40 2.0T 1999

Around 150 hp.
Relaxed car but too soft suspension.
These rust very much but the engine is of superb quality.

I had that car brand new (dark red). Easiest drive ever. I liked it better than my husband's BMW 535i

I bought one a year ago and have spent almost $3000 on repairs. But it's a 20 year old car so no surprises there. Fun to drive but the lack of a 5th gear is disappointing. The engine and transmission still seem solid after almost 150, 000 kms.

In the 1.9 turbo you must use 5/30 full synthetic oil .if you choose conventional your VVT valve selnoid WILL fail causing the exhaust cam lobes to drag thus poor engine function!!

Why need to buy turbo cars for slow driving, beter drive with 1.6 and get some liter/100km less
