I miss the S40/V50 and the C30 so bad. They had the same Volvo quality and design, but in a smaller and cheaper package.

People forget just how good Volvo's cars are~ Good quality and great cars overall. It's refreshing to see a 12 year old S40 still running great. These older Volvo cars still hold up.

I was able to snag a 2006 Volvo S40 T5 manual for an absolute steal of a price last year and loved everything about it. Seriously great little cars.

I have the 2011 sans the R-Design but fully equipped. It hauls ass, the turbo is great when passing and I live on a terrific curvy, contoured, country road in Nova Scotia. A joy to drive into town and back.

My friend used to have a red 2006 with the dark leather and sunroof. I really liked that car.

And my aunt had a black V50 also with dark leather and sunroof.

7:50 the dust cover for the shift gate has a piece broken off which is why it won't let you manually shift. The piece has a magnet tells the car you've moved over into manual mode, and when it breaks, it just doesn't realize you've shifted into manual. It's not a terrible fix.

I love these cars!! the t5 awd is a bargain for a compact awd car right now. only thing you need to check is the headliner... one common issue has to due with the sunroof water tubes getting disconnected, or full of dirt making water leak into the car ruining the headliner. get that checked and fixed immediatley

I have the same car and so far after driving it 2 month it’s a nice reliable car my is a 2010 with only 72k miles it has the 2.5 turbo 5 cylinder engine too and I really like it 😊

I bought one as my first car same as this one just with blis, such a cool car to have unfortunately it ran out of coolant on the highway and cooked itself :(

Der ist ja komplett vollausgestattet ausser die R-Design Sitze und dem hangeschaltenem Getriebe ist ja nur das beste verbaut, gibts selten

I have a 2006 V50 AWD. It is awesome! I can get decent mpg… if I keep my foot out of it.
