Before my mom passed, she let me know that she'd come back to let me know she was around by sending me hummingbirds. I've seen them in many different places, but on one special day when I was outside and on the phone with a dear friend of hers a hummingbird literally fell out of the sky a few feet away from me. I was stunned! I raced over to the bird and gently clasped it in my hands, then placed it on a nearby table to let it get its bearings. The hummer then tried to fly, but fell back again. It was a cold day, so I thought maybe it was frozen. With my mind racing about how I could warm it up I scooped it up a second time. This time the bird looked up at me and sat motionless for a few seconds. As tears rolled down my face I said "Thank you Mom." Then it flew away. After my dog died, I & my mother both saw her glowing in the dark in different locations in the house at night. I also saw her white sparkle of light in corner of ceiling often daily and nightly for about a month or two after she passed. Was wonderful to know she is with me still.
