I Got A Charlie Starr Gibson Les Paul Junior!

📚Description: Gibson recently released the Charlie Starr Signature Les Paul Junior in a premium satin Black and Walnut color. At $1999, I feel Charlie and Gibson threw us a bone with how cool these are and how much case candy we got with them. The initial supply is long gone and the resale market is thriving, but don't lose hope, I doubt all 500 (250 each color) have been released yet.

FYI: Charlie plays a Joe Hamilton original made in Lagrange, GA. He got Joe to make a "copy" of his 57 Junior. I only know this because I work for Joe's nephew, and his son is my coworker. And Joe has Brazilian for certain boards. His son Joseph says the lumber lives under Joe's bed.

The plek machine should not cause any blemishes or issues, if it's even possible, it's someone that should not be near it that set it up..

Man that fretboard is unacceptable, I’ve seen budget guitars with better finished fretboards. I don’t hate the guitar as a signature cause the juniors are just cool guitars but with quality control issues like that it sure isn’t worth any premium.

Other than some obvious QC issues, this one ticks all the boxes for me. I love Charlie and i think Blackberry is the best modern rock band, it's an LP Junior and it's a natural finish. Damn, that's one to consider paying a premium eventually.

Putting the sticker on the guitar was a waste. I expect that you are returning the guitar to Gibson to repair the fingerboard.

I actually had my hand in my pocket 'till I saw the quality control (or lack of). You wouldn't see that kind of crap on a chibson, so why is it ok on a gibson at 10 times the price ? They just don't care ... at all ... not one bit.
