Off-duty Chicago police officer shot on city’s Near West Side

An off-duty Chicago police officer was shot Wednesday night on the Near West Side, according to police.

watch the surveillance video. you can see all of them standing outside when they react to a gunshot. the gunshot came from the off duty police officer. the men scramble and return fire because to them, it's just some random guy shooting at them. He was not in uniform, he was not in a marked car, and he was not fired on first. The off duty police officer fired the first shot and he tried to frame is as if he's the hero.
