The Wave 2 of the most highly anticipated release is upon us...the Charizard Ultra Premium Collection.

Thanks to extremely high print runs providing big box retailers with an endless supply, the Charizard UPC has been easily accessible so much, that prices have plummeted across the board.

However, at what cost was the high circulation provided to us? Quality and pulls were a major concern with Wave 1 of the Charizard UPC. Can we expect any better results on the 2nd go around? Let's find out!

Well... I'm glad I don't have to attempt finding a 2nd wave box for a shot at better promos. It is great seeing a bunch of these UPCs in various stores for MSRP this past week.... and insane black friday deals on them online. It's the way it should be. The Pokemon QC is not the way it should be. :( Oh well... My son will be happy with these 3 zards in his binder! They still look cool.

Found a bunch of great deals this past weekend. The Pikachu & Zekrom GX boxes for $30 at GameStop was awesome. The Darkrai boxes for $20 at Walmart were amazing. The $25 Brilliant Stars and Astral Radiance ETBs at Target were sweet as well. Bought a bunch of birthday and Christmas presents with those Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals. The $120 gift certificate for $100 in your store was sweet as well! The kids and their friends will be very happy!

As far as these UPCs go all I can say is that I'm glad I didn't fall for the pre release hype. Picked mine up for a little less than $90 with some extra discounts on Gamestop this Cyber Monday.

Bought 3 UPC’s for me and my dad the moment it went live on PC. If only I knew the current state I could have saved like $60 by just getting it this past week at GameStop!

I never have much luck with pulls in collection boxes of any sort, this has greatly deterred me from picking up one of these boxes at this point (even if I had the budget for it right now XD). Glad you're doing better, being sick over a holiday is never fun!

I feel pokemon understands the grading process and just like lucky on pulls it’s also luck on getting a quality cards..they make them messed up on purpose…

What do I want Pokemon to do better as far as QC in 2023? Definitely better centering and the more consistent use of fresh, sharp blades. Also, a lot of my bulk has like a line indentation running from top to bottom. There shouldn't be cards like that fresh out the pack, regardless of if it's bulk or not.

Man glad you’re doing better. I caught something similar this last month with a sore throat, that lead to losing my voice for about two weeks. Still recovering, watching through your library of pulls has been great though. Glad you’re getting better and getting back into filming. Always super entertaining to watch.

I haven't gotten a UPC yet. I was hoping to but unforeseen stuff keeps popping up! I haven't had any good pulls from anything lately! The darkrai box was rough for me!

I recently got back into the TCG, so I have a ton of FB ads for TCG sellers. I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised how many of the Big Black Friday Sales were mark up with sales down to the current expected values. Well there's a reason the stores do it, I suppose. It works if people aren't paying attention or don't know better.
