There are ways that are being developed to use machines, yet be regenerative. Not all industrial setups are bad for the environment when they use regenerative methods.

I disagree with the more labor part. A lot of farmers are turning to regen ag because they want to have more time.
When you have a regen ag established, you don‘t have to spend any time applying fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides etc. You don‘t need to till.

This works in industrialised agriculture already. And it requires less labor.

The transition is tricky tho.

It works better to country like Philippines because they have lots of labor and relies heavily on import fertilizer. Switching to this system solve 2 problems at the same time.
