There is a saying in some parts of the Royal Air Force – "you can't fly without supply".

Logistics are a significant part of any RAF operation, with there being plenty of kit and parts to move and keep track of.

Forces News has spoken to Sergeant Dai Venn, who has been overseeing logistics as part of the Deployed Support Group on the Baltic Air Policing Mission in Estonia, Operation Azotize.

The plane in the background. Is his personal transport from the first war he fought in.

Wonderful man, keeping the Air force where it belongs, in the Air. Ever tried to get small parts for your car? He has to plan ahead of need for combat aircraft!

The big fella seems out of breathe just walking and talking in the warehouse.

These comments are uncalled for. You have no clue about his personal medical history, he may very well pass his fitness test and I also imagine he sounded out of breath because he was nervous.

Well done team of 4 people. 5 inclu that guy. That must be logistical nightmare keeping informed of everything & noting what is where & where is what. Even thinking about would keep me up also ordering parts far in advance. !!!" Then shifing it to another country so the pilot's can do their job. A shout out to both that team & the team of pilot's who fly to keep European countries SAFE FROM RUSSIA.😢😢 HAPPY HUNTING PILOT'S F.N.ZEALAND❤❤ 4:04

I trust come the shooting war, the spares will be distributed out to a wider storage area. 1 hit takes everything out...

No such thing as a NATO fighter jet. NATO has some aircraft, but non are fighter jets. Sounds like a logistics unit for a Euro /Typhoon deployment.

I hope Forces News scours this Thread and removes the utterly disgusting personal abuse being thrown about. There is never any place for personal abuse. it adds nothing to the discussion.
People who think its clever to abuse people behind the wall of anonymity YT provides need removing and showing Forces News supports people it shows in videos and that it won't stand for it.
