LIMA ....
Almost no one mentions Colombia or Bogotá, as their chances of living, in all the comments .. but the owner of the channel sees it as a "paradise", he even has videos living there .. he omits to mention Lima in Peru when it is a city a lot richer and bigger than the Colombian one (Bogotá) lived in Lima for 5 years (Barranco) and it is a facsinant city, if you're afraid to say it, the city with the most culture and diversity in Latin America along with Sao Paulo in Brazil. they are tastes ... but in culture, food of the gods, beautiful Pacific coasts and friendly people, I would choose to live in Peru.

Great video and having lived in South America (Chile and Argentina) can say South America as a whole is a unique place to live but would not live their again, very different living long-term verse a short-term trip. Also, note in Chile you will need to live in a pretty decent area to avoid crime, but one issue in Chile is often what appears to look like a nice area can actually become pretty sketchy at night and as they say looks can be deceiving. Regarding, Paraguay not so sure this is a very safe place. Many Paraguayans live in Argentina and will all state that Paraguay has a pretty high rate of crime but I suppose that depends on the city and area of the city one is living. Regarding Uruguay that is another country I visited in 2014 and really enjoyed it, very tranquil and absolutely the safety ratings of Uruguay are not over hyped. Uruguay is both very European and modern and often you will feel like you are somewhere in Europe if you travel to certain parts of Uruguay. Uruguay also has a really cool vibe if you are more of the "hippy"/musician type that just wants to sit back and enjoy life, as many people will go to Uruguay to live this type of lifestyle and it has a climate system and culture that is well designed for this type of lifestyle.

As someone who runs a consulting business and lives between Paraguay and several other destinations in South America. I can vouch it is a great region to live in and recommend it often on my channel.

Thank you Andrew! I have been waiting to hear about Chile. In the Nomad Capitalist Website there are amazing articles about it, by other writers. I really want to stay a little at Fort Galt, a libertarian villa that is stablished in the South there.

I have been listening to your channel for years! i'm now looking at places in Colombia. Northern Colombia is still very undeveloped but there is lots of land and always something to build.
